Known for: Her Wonder Girls, romancing officers and gentlemen.
Debra Winger may have fallen off the radar post-1990, but from the late '70s 'til the late '80s, she was the Queen Esther of Hollywood, proving to the masses, and to her people, that you didn't need a nose job and a name change to roll around naked with Richard Gere. Raised Orthodox, and a veteran of one of those formative Israeli kibbutz programs, Winger bazoomed her way into the public consciousness by appearing as Wonder Girl on the cheesy '70s Wonder Woman show. More serious, although no less, uh, titillating fare followed, including Urban Cowboy, An Officer and a Gentleman and Terms of Endearment. She's back to acting now, but age hasn't been entirely kind to Debra. Once she looked like the hot girl in shul who distracted us all the way through the Torah reading, but now...well...more like that hot girl's disapproving mother. But still, man. Wonder Girl.
