מאות מבני העדה האתיופית השתתפו השבוע בערב הצדעה לעדה לציון 20 שנה למבצע שלמה במסגרתו הועלו 14,400 יהודים מאתיופיה תוך 34 שעות לישראל. Hundreds of Ethiopian participated this week at a Tribute to Linda's 20th anniversary Operation Solomon, which were 14 400 Ethiopian Jews to Israel within 34 hours.
באירוע, שהתקיים במרכז קריגר בחיפה ושהינו פרי יוזמה משותפת של משרד הקליטה ועיריית חיפה הופיעו מיטב האמנים יוצאי אתיופיה בהם: הזמרת איילה אינגדשט והסקסופוניסט הבינלאומי אבטה בריהון והזמרת קנוביש ולהקות מקומיות כגון "קולות שילובים" ולהקת "ביתא". The event, held at Kruger Haifa and which is a joint initiative of the Ministry and the Municipality of Haifa were the best of Ethiopian artists including singer and saxophonist Ayala Aingdst International Abate Barihon and singer Knovis and local bands such as "sound combinations" and group "beta".

עוד השתתפו בערב המרגש מנהל מחוז חיפה במשרד הקליטה משה הראל, סגנית ראש העיר ויו"ר העמותה לקליטת עלייה יוליה שטריים, יו"ר שותפות חיפה בוסטון נעמי גרדינגר וראש מערכת החינוך והתרבות בעירייה ערן דובובי. Also participating in the exciting night Haifa District Manager Ministry of Absorption Moshe Harel, Deputy Mayor and Chairman of the Association of Immigrant Absorption Julia fresh, Chairman Boston Haifa Connection Naomi Gardinger and the editorial director of education and culture in the municipality Eran Dubov.
